Beef & Barley Stew

1- 1 ½ pound lean beef meat
1 onion
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 TBS oil
6 cups beef broth
1 cup barley
2 large carrots, diced
2 celery stalks, chopped
1 pound fresh mushrooms
1 cup barley
1 teaspoon thyme
¼ teaspoon garlic & hear seasoning
¼ teaspoon pepper
2 TBS parsley

Brown meat in oil with onion and garlic. Add barley and rest of ingredients. Simmer 1 hour on medium-low heat.
